Credential boundary: Completion certifies successful completion of the Lineman Canada / PowerlineTraining.ca WDO program. It is not Powerline Technician trade certification, regulatory authorization, a competency determination, or authorization to perform powerline work.
WDO Version 1.0 — Credential Term: This program is the current Version 1.0 release. The WDO completion credential is valid for 12 months from the date of successful completion. To maintain a current WDO credential, the holder must complete the applicable annual WDO refresher course or updated program requirements each year. Employer, regulatory, trade, competency, safety, licensing and company-specific requirements remain separate and continue to apply.
