LINE-START explains how Canada's electrical power system is organized, what Powerline Technicians do, how apprenticeship and Red Seal pathways work, what linework environments are really like, and how new entrants can prepare themselves professionally.
Complete the online learning material and required modules, then write a randomized 25-question final knowledge assessment. A score of 80% or higher completes the program and generates your PowerlineTraining.ca Certificate of Completion through your Lineman ID training record.
Important: LINE-START is introductory career and industry awareness education. Completion does not certify occupational competency, apprenticeship status, Red Seal endorsement or authorization to perform energized or hazardous powerline work.
LINE-START uses the existing Lineman Canada standardized training checkout and entitlement system. After payment, your access, module progress, assessment attempts, completion and certificate stay connected to your Lineman ID.
